St. Victor Church, Nellikar Parish, organized a Liturgical Training Programme on Sunday, August 30, 2026, for lectors and choir members to deepen their understanding of the Sacred Liturgy and enhance their active participation in the liturgical celebrations.
The training session was conducted by Rev. Fr. Rohit D’Costa, Director of Mangala Jyothi – Diocesan Biblical, Catechetical and Liturgical Centre, Mangalore. He provided valuable guidance on the importance of the liturgical ministry, proper proclamation of the Word of God, and meaningful participation in the Holy Eucharist.
Rev. Fr. Peter Aranha, Parish Priest, was present for the programme and encouraged the participants to carry out their liturgical ministries with dedication and prayerful preparation.
A total of 43 participants, comprising lectors and choir members, took part in the training. The programme was beneficial in helping the participants grow in their understanding and commitment to serving the Church through their respective liturgical ministries.
